I had that familiar conviction that life was beginning over again with the summer.
Summer is in full swing and we're soaking up every minute of it
Here we are, quickly approaching August, we’ve officially hit Leo season (shout out to my fellow Leos!) and summer is in full effect. I’m writing this from the lobby of a small hotel in Sitges, which is becoming a town that Kyle and the boys and I visit with regularity. There’s a charm (few cars, the constant sound of waves) and a relaxing vibe about this seaside town that really fits our moods. Which, is well timed. It feels like life lately has been filled with a number of changes, upheavals, and sometimes, uneasiness. Though as my pilates teachers informed me, my energy tends not to dwell on the past, and is instead focused on the future and laying the foundation there.
That said, it’s been two weeks since I relaunched The Fox Is Black, and so far, the reception has been incredible. I’ve reconnected with so many old friends and received many warm messages. There’s something so gratifying about being able to share as I did once again, telling little stories and uncovering gems. What I’m really excited for is creating more of my own stories, working on a handful of interviews, as well as a mixtape I already have cooking. I have to start somewhere and I’m happy with the the progress I’ve made so far.
I hope your summer is going well so far, and you have some fabulous trip planned. Remember it’s important to relax and unwind and focus on your passions. Or say fuck it and drink too many piña coladas 🥳🍹
