I feel you on being over the social media hustle - been a steep decline over the last 4 years for me. Trying to find different, smaller ways to connect.
Did I miss this in a previous post or is this a soft launch of your coffee shop plan?! – "And the biggest puzzle to solve is starting my coffee shop here in Spain." I'm sure it will be incredible, can't wait to hear more about it.
I remember in college years ago I wrote a blog post about my future coffee shop dream that you linked to (I was hyped). I kinda did it (partnered with a friend who opened one, but was in more of a design support role and eventually sold my stake). Glad to see you doing it, and that that dream can still happen! Have a great rest of the year.
I've been toying around with the idea for years now, ever since I did a pop-up restaurant in LA, and after some job/career changes, I felt like it was time to really start the ball rolling. I love that you did this, I think that's so rad. My goal is to have a fun place for people to drink mediocre to good coffee and listen to music, that's it. Hang out while I pay the bills.
I recently read Four Thousand Weeks by Oliver Burkeman, which really resonated with me and helped me think deeply about what’s most important to me and how to spend my precious weeks here on earth! In case you’re looking for reading material for your planning/hermit time.
