I could not agree more. Technology has its place, but it was never meant to replace. I do see AI as a legitimate tool for research, but the thought occurred to me instead of calling artificial intelligence. How about calling it assistive Intelligence. And your observation that it seems to be a first world issue and problem. Should we continue down? This path might not become a second and third world problem. I think assisting humans and relying upon it as a tool that assists us is the way it should be viewed, but unfortunately, it's just another way to monetize our lives ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ We'll see what happens as people continue to develop it further, only time can tell!
